Don't mind Kait's hair... I took this photo just before I finished getting her ready for school. :)
Christian is 2 months old now and our family is getting used to being 4 Leonards instead of just 3. At his doctor appointment, Christian weighed in at a healthy and robust 13 lbs. 10 oz. (84th percentile) and measured 24 inches long (80th percentile). While he is big for his age - he wears size 3-6 month clothing - he's proportionate in weight and height so the doctor said he's just going to be a big boy. :)
Christian is smiling more readily and he coos when he gets really excited. He recognizes his mommy & daddy's voices and is especially interested in anything Kaitlyn is saying or doing. He's eating every three hours and sleeping better now. He generally has his last bottle at 11:00, wakes up about 3:30 or 4:00 to eat again, and then wakes up again a little after 6:00. After his 6:00 feeding, he goes back to sleep until 8:00 when I have to put him in the carseat so we can take Kaitlyn to school.
When he's awake, he's much happier in my arms than anywhere else. He has his tummy-time and sometimes enjoys swinging in his swing, but he prefers by far to be in the carrier (we alternate between a Moby Wrap, Ergo, and Baby Bjorn) or being held. This makes housework, errands, and napping or relaxing a little difficult for me sometimes, but I make it work.
